Barberino Nissan
Trying to get my Nissan fixed by the so call A Nissan service department

Cars & Transport

Im a single mom who works hard for everything I do and get. I went to Barberino Feb with a bank check in mind of purchasing a car. I test drove a 2005 Nissan Maxima, when I test drove the car it jerked kind of hard so I questioned the Salesman (Ryan Terinzy). I asked him why did it feel that way, his response was thats how SE Maximas feel. I kindly laugh at his response because he didnt know that I use to own a Maxima and I no how it should feel. I said kindly no it shouldn't feel that way and that tranny should be checked along with them painting the door before me picking up the car. When car was delivered in Feb it drove ok until about 2 weeks after the car started the hard jerking into geers and there was hollowing noise. Two weeks after having my vehicle the problems started. I scheduled a service appt which they didnt have me a loaner so I missed work until they had one. They called said it wasn't transmission and the noise was nothing. I took car back problem the exist, therefore I took to a transmission place and all they had to do was change geer and it jerked and they said Barberino knows this car needs a transmission and they shouldn't have sold me the car like this. Well I brought car back several more times and still tranny not the problem. One morning around 5:00 am on the highway my car was still running but idling high and low I was lucky I was by my ext to get off. As I was getting closer to exit I was trying to push on brakes I had no power at all in my car. I was praying that but the time I get off it would have slowed down. I was horrified but this because at the end of exit was a dead end but the car slowed and stopped at the light. I called tow truck the brought my car home I called Barberino for them to pick up car FINALLY its the tranny. Month later car was still jumping a lil they had to put in another tranny in car. All this time I'm working with Barberino but enough was enough I contacted BBB several times and Attorney Generals Office. I just want my car fixed right on a car that is their car (Nissan). How could you not fix your own car right. I feel they just milk you warranty company but this is one time they will get nothing because these are preexisting issues that were brought 2 weeks to 2 months after me purchasing vehicle. I only had my car for a 1 year 2 weeks and out of that time I drove it no more than 5 months because it has been in and out the service. As of today the problems still exist... I was hoping I didnt have to go this far but ENOUGH IS ENOUGH... Barberino is making a bad name for themselves, oooops several salesmen said it already has a bad reap because of the service department and thats why that keep having new people coming and going. Please help someone anyone!
