Purchased a ninety Maxima with under 40K miles in 1992. Powertrain warranty is 36K. The auto-transmission went onto it around 40K miles, an o ring seemingly took (?) and caused a liquid trickle which fundamentally triggered the indication to burnup. (Rapidly) I had been on the highway at that time and didn't discover something incorrect till it began sliding.

Because it seemed a faulty o ring triggered the trickle, I requested Nissan to assist out using the $2500 bill. Not protect it, but help with it, as it was slightly over guarantee and that I did not believe an o-ring must crash for no cause. Used to do not contact the indication, apart from to check on liquid color and degree.

I understand, the guarantee was around by 4K miles. Nevertheless, a family member experienced a Subaru with 73K miles (36K guarantee) and had the indication venture out onto it. The dealer agreed to and did substitute it free, stating this will not have occurred.

I wrote Nissan again and talked to somebody about the telephone in regards to a small client satisfaction support, and supplied the Subaru instance, but got exactly the same reaction. You know what type of vehicle (Really last two) I-drive today? I've also dissuaded atleast some people from purchasing Nissanis since, I'm very happy to state.
