Stephanie -white female, black hair, piercing below lower lip. Lied. Promised my check would be held but it was cashed immediately, creating an overdraft

The young {lady{ represented a legitimate business with a lot of repairs deals, as well as oil changes. The oil changes showed what appeared to be an additional charge for synthetic oil but she insisted that was not the case. I told her that money was a problem right now and she told me a check or debit/credit card purchase could be held for thirty days. I told her I would write a check and post date it until Matrch 15th. That was all the time I needed. She said she would ensure that the check was held until the 15th. After she left I realized I had dated it with the current date. I could not locate her and, being elderly (forgetful) and not computer savvy, i did not think to look on the internet for the company. This was on a Sunday, so I waited until Monday morning and called the owner of the business she was selling for. He was very upset, stating that she could not make those promises and he would contact the promotional company personally. I have not heard back from him at the time of this writing (Wed. Morning).
