Ripoff dishonest auto body repair and billing practice. Making unauthorize auto body repairs

ON JUNE 25 i called city collision center to have my car towed to their shop for a estimate on my auto body repairs. City collision had my car towed to there shop later that day.

ON saturday 6-26-04 I went to the shop to check on my car the auto body shop was closed. I did not have a ride to the shop on monday 6-28-04, but I went to the auto body shop on tuesday 6-29-04.

I went in to the office and I asked the lady at the desk who authorized the repairs on my car. She could not tell me, so she went and talked to one of the men working on my car and I asked him who authorized the repairs on my car. HE said that my adjuster was there on monday and oked a supplement and he oked the repairs.

I then asked him how much work had been done, he said we ordered all the parts for your car. I said who told you to order the parts? HE said he thought that the adjuster oked the repairs. I said to the guy don't do any more work on my car.

I talked to my adjuster and he said he did not authorized the repairs. I said I did not want the car repaired. I recived this letter saying regardless if I had authorized the repairs I was still responsible for $1263.10 of repairs and $25.00 a day storage fee.
