UAC Warranty Sell vehicles that have cracked radiator and won't fix it

Cars & Transport

I bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee from CarHop on Dec. 1. It was evening and dark outside so I could not see that the radiator had a leak. Due to not driving the vehicle to much by the time I noticed the leak, the three day grace period had expired to turn the vehicle back in. The Warranty won't fix it since it only covers the engine, transmission and drive shaft. Anything that attaches to it and is vital for the running of the engine is not covered, i.E. Radiator.

First attempt to contact the service warranty place ended up getting transfered about ten times and hung up on twice. When I did get to talk to the warranty department they just wrote down what they wanted to and not what I was trying to tell them. So needless to say the repairs that were submitted were declined on the radiator. So I have to pay to get the radiator fixed over $500 at the auto repair place.

Other things wrong with the vehicle were the rear tires were bigger than the front and caused a wobbling once you got above 60 MPH.

I can't take the vehicle back now, or they will call it a voluntary repossession since it is financed through UAC.

I will not buy another car from CarHop, and hope that you will read this and not buy your car from them either.
