Bad work and did not honor warranty

I had a 1992 Mercedes transmission rebuilt by them. They serviced my vehicle November 1 I was given a 1 year warranty and I paid over $1500 for this repair. Within the first month, I noticed I was losing ATF / tranny fluid. I took it out to see them for repair. They told me they fixed it. It started leaking again, I went out there to have them repair it and shortly after it did it again. I eventually contacted the BBB about this matter. They advised BBB, that if I come out there they would repair my issue. It was not fixed. This happened a total of 8 different times. After one of my visits there, I decided to have another transmission shop look it over and they advised me that they did not fix the leak they were only putting RTV which is some type of silicone all over it to stop the leak instead of repairing it. On the last visit, I asked for a refund or even a partial refund and they would not agree to it.

On October 20th my transmission went out on me and I could only drive in reverse. I began to call them to request that they come get my car and repair my tranny. No response, and I would only get their voicemail. I decided to go out there later that week to speak with them face to face and discovered that they have closed business and are no longer there. I was told that the owner may have moved his shop to isanti or ham lake.

I still have not been able to reach him.
