Precision Transmission performed a master overhaul on my transmission
on 08/14. I was back within 3 days with a few major problems. I
am female but even I was aware that something was not right. The car
would not go in reverse and there was an obvious leak of tranmission fluid.

My car was returned to me 2 days later with a vague explanation of the
problems they reported upon my request.

I returned the car in mid September for the slow yet continious leak. They
returned it the next day stating the problem was a small plastic sensor
which was cracked but now it was "taken care of."

I returned the vehicle a total of three additional times with the same complaint of losing fluid, by now I had paid about $300.00 in rental car
fees and was beginning to get frustrated.

While still under warranty I returned with my husband and asked for final
resolution of the problem. Six days later I called to speak with Brett Moore, the owner. I was not allowed to speak with him instead I was informed by David, a young 21 year old tech that I had hit or ran over something that caused damage to the casing and the repairs would not be under warranty.

I consulted an attorney and was advised to go elsewher to a reputable repair shop for assessment of vehicle problem and/or repair.

There I was told and actually witnessed the problem first hand. It appeared the transmission had been dropped or damaged. Silicone sealant was visible and it was now obvious that Precission Transmission had attemped to seal the leak upon one or more of my many visits.

The transmission had to be torn down and once again rebuilt. It will cost me another $2,300-$2,600.

I am planning to file a complaint, I have not decided whether to hire an attorney or "go it alone." in light of being out of a significant amount of cash.
