Al Mccoy ripoff and fraud new jersey

I had my car in this shop for about a year. I brought it to him to have an engine installed. I was told that I was getting an L88 for my 1966 corvette. He told me it would be perfect and for the price it should be. I had the car towed from his shop when it was completed to a paint shop, which it was at for about a year. When the car was completed this past October, I went to drive it and found out that my rear main seal was leaking. I took it to another mechanic because Al refused to fix same.

I said to him that car only had a few miles on it from the time it left your shop and this should not be happening. He still refused. I then found out that the motor he told me that was in the car was not an L88 it is an L71. Also the motor has to be completely rebuilt because the rear main seal did soo much damage. I was completely ripped off by this man and his shop... He lied to me and deceived me... I am not out thousands of dollars because of him... I was wondering if anyone else has had any other problems with him... I have heard nothing but bad things regarding his shop since this incident.
