Performance Limited Car deal ripoff

I bought a used car, 99 Infiniti I35, and less than 30 days later it was inoperable. We attempted to contact the dealer 2-4 times per week beginning the day after the purchase, in addition to 3 visits to the lot to attempt to sort out getting the necessary repairs. They said they would fix the AC before the purchase, and this was not completed. This led to the serpentine and timing belts breaking, as they were already a bit worn. The entire AC system had a large leak, the compressor failed, and several hoses needed to be replaced.

After having it towed and the shop estimate the work we okayed over 1600 in repairs, only to receive a call the next day that the shop (White Oak Towing) was refusing the work on the grounds that they could not be liable for putting the vehicle back on the road. They found large amounts of frame and core rust, deterioration, and damage. We attempted to cancel the contract with the dealer via a notorized letter, and he said we didn't want to do that, because it would be very expensive, and he knew our financial situation and that we were very tight on finances, and had no other car, with two people needing to share it to get to work.

After spending a week bleeding money on a rental trying to figure out if there was anything we could do, we were ultimatley forced to trade the car back in and pay a large difference for another one. He gave us 2000 less in return for the car we had less than 30 days, and refused to work with us at all. We attempted to take him to small claims court, but since we are not lawyers were not remotely prepared and awarded nothing, except a smirk and a demeaning, "I told you you didn't want to do this" from the Jordan representative.
