North Trail RV Center Unable to perform competent service/repair on new RV. Billed for work covered under warranty

Our business purchased a brand new 2011 Fleetwood Expedition 38B from North Trail RV approx. 4/15. After purchase there were clearly many issues with the coach as the dealer DID NOT perform a PDI (pre delivery inspection) as required by Fleetwood before delivery to customer. Upon return to shop the PDI was completed after we used it for our first tour, this was our first sign that North Trail RV is completely incompetent as PDI is the most basic of services for a dealer. But this was the first of many problems to come.

The second issue was the Blue Ox towing system which North Trail RV installed failed and caused our tow vehicle to impact the coach and damage the body. After returning to shop we were informed that they could not cover the damage as we couldn't prove it was their work that did the damage. We continued to use the defective Blue Ox towing system as they would not repair or replace the system. Further the system was not installed properly with the "trickle charger" attachment so for the first 2 months we were forced to jump start the tow vehicle every time, this is unacceptable for a dealer to install a partial system and pass it off as a complete install. North Trail finally installed the additional charger unit after many trips. When they installed the trickle charger they again improperly installed and cut the brake lights on the tow vehicle as well as disconnected the radio in the tow vehicle. Both of these issues had to be repaired on the road as they did not test the system before we picked up the vehicles. North Trail eventually refunded the money for the brake light repair after 3 months of argument.

After a few months with the defective tow bar the system completely failed and the tow vehicle broke free from the coach while driving on the road, this again was due to the negligence of North Trail RV to fix the faulty system that was installed. We were able to find a Blue Ox dealer in Detroit who gladly replaced the defective unit but could not repair the damage to the remaining parts of the tow system, including trickle charger and lube pump. Upon return to North Trail they again refused to pay for the additional damage caused by the failure of their system. They still have not repaired or paid for the thousands in damage to our vehicle after this failure.

The most recent issue, and reason for finally filing this complaint, was we had our hydraulic jack system fail approximately 9/12 and returned to the licensed dealer to repair the system along with a few other minor repairs that they never got to with the last fix. Upon returning this time they informed us the vehicle warranty had expired and we would have to pay for repairs out of pocket for this. We reluctantly agreed as there was no other way to fix the coach at the time, after racking up over $500 in repairs to the jack system and various other repairs the Jack system was still inoperable, they did not fix anything. Again we were forced to use the coach without the jacks for another month trip, upon return to North Trail again they charged for more repairs and never ended up fixing the jack issue.

After losing all patience with North Trail we now take our coach to another repair facility. Immediately he was able to perform our other repairs and found that our jack system has a 3 year warranty! We have been upset with North Trail RV since our purchase and have regretted every single transaction with them and their staff, and now I found that they have fraudulently charged us for repairs clearly covered by warranty! Not only that, since we bought the coach from the same facility they are 100% aware of EVERY warranty with the coach, clearly they either defrauded us with intent or are completely incompetent as a repair facility and licensed dealer. Either way customers should NEVER use North Trail RV to buy or repair anything and we expect a full refund of all work performed during this period as all seems to be under warranty.
