WOW where to begin, well I was interested in working for a trucking company which I put my application on trucking jobs.com. I got allot of responses but where I live they couldn't get me home. But then palmentere brothers trucking had called me and i told me that they could get me home and wanted to take me aboard. I was looking for them on line to see the equipment and found this report. So I had called them and told them what I had found and they begged me to not worrie about what others had said they where just venting. I hesitated for about 2 weeks and they called me allot. So then I needed a job and agreed to try them out. The fun begins.

On my bus ride the driver got lost going to Minneapolis and then there I had switched buses then my luggage got lost. Was in the motel and the toilet was loose and when i sat on it I almost fell off. Then the nexed day I had my physical/drug test and waited at the motel for orientation the nexed day. Well i had to stand in the lobby for 1 hr as the van drivers kept leaving until they had time for us. And we where late. Got to orientation where they gave the usual speeches. And they where excited to see us.

Well the nexed day we where getting our trucks. There was 7 of us in the group. 2 got there trucks and sent out right away. And 2 I have no Idea where they went then there was 3 left. But after we got our trucks we had to get them fixed up or just fixed. Now mind you I got a brand new truck. Had to get every thing put in it and set up and it was to late for the dispatch and she didn't want to deal with us. And we where told not to sleep there it wasn't safe. So we had gone to the casino to sleep. Came back at 6:30 am for a load. At that time a few asked me where I lived and I told them and they told me we cant get you back there. Then they told me that they couldnt pay me what they agreed to pay. It was only a few cents diffrence so i thought i would take it.

So after sitting for a load all day they told me that all the trailers where junk and none of the reefer units ran, they couldn't get my load until later. Finely around 6:30pm I finely got my load. I took it and ran with it. Then was told that if we quit before 6 months they would take all the money out of our check for everything they spent on us for rooming transporting us to orientation, our physical that I didn't need and drug test. After I unloaded my trailer and was waiting for another load they had one on me then they changed and said that I had to run a load straight threw (18 hr run) I told them that i wouldn't and couldn't do it. I was told that I had to I said that I was going to refuse the load they told me I couldn't refuse it I wasn't an owner operator. And so I gave them back there truck and got my own bus ticket home. DON'T DRIVE FOR THIS COMPANY And ALWAYS ALWAYS go with ur first gut feelings..
