What cal ark orientaion doesnt tell you until the last day in the last hou

I worked for cal ark for 6 weeks. Dring orientation the last day in the last hour I was told they would take out 25.00/wk until i had 400.00 for escrow to pay for any damage, then i was told I had to buy 2 load locks and 2 straps total aprox. 80.00, then i was told if any damage to their equip I was responsible for the first 1000.00 out of my pocket, then I was told if I quit within 6 months I had to pay for my bus ticket from my house to orientation. Keep in mind I was a company driver not an owener operator/lease. The first 2 weeks I was really impressed about the miles i got then it went down hill. Every time I got a load over 1000 miles they would have me relay the load to a yard and pick up another load with less miles that delivered the same day I would have delivered the load with the good miles. My dm said we relay all the time with this company. So after I was told to relay my last load and loose 250 miles I decided this was not the company for me. I wouldnt mind relaying a load to a driver with a family emrgncy or time off but I wasnt going to relay every load I got over 1000 miles. I was told they average 2800/wk although I had a couple good weeks my average was around 2000 mi/wk.

The company I left I had a 2012 prostar when i finished orientation and I got my truck at cal ark it was a 2006 eagle with 830200 miles I didnt think companies ran trucks with that many miles. I do have to amitt though even though the inside of the trck wasnt that nice the truck itself ran really good I was impressed with the truck running so good. So know I have decided to become an owner operater No more company driving for me. When I get a load over 1000 mi no one is going to take it from me.
