Ripoff&Laurie Quter—what a familiar name

On a whim, I decided to search for Safeway, as your stories are too familiar. I was in an accident where a Safeway insured turned left in front of me, and was ticketed for failure to yield. To begin with, the accident occured on a Thursday, and I didn't even get to speak with a Safeway representative (Laurie Quter) until the following Tuesday, and she was of no assistance. I heard the same stories as are already reported.initially, it was my understanding that the driver was the wife of the car owner. When speaking to Ms. Quter, the driver was not listed on the policy, and they have to do the "investigation" to determine if she had permission to drive. I ended up going through State Farm (my insurance) to handle the repair of my car, and have paid out of pocket for a rental car. It's looking like I have a long road ahead of me, as Ms. Quter was anything but helpful on the phone with me.
