Dan sold unsafe car frame is rusting away

Bought car at the end of January, only had 10 hrs and had to have it towed back because wiring about caught fire was repaired. Just a few days ago we took car to have front end alignment and to replace tie rods or ball joints on drivers side as it wasn't handling right. Was told by mechanic that car can not be fixed, frame is rusting away. Dan would only make it right if we came up with more money in order to get a different car. Said it was from hitting pot holes. The car was unsafe from day one. It was not inspected as we bought it as is he said he didn't have to inspect it. He told us to take him to court he has deep pockets and he never loses. Not only was this car unsafe for us to drive, which we've been doing with our 7 yr old granddaughter, but it is also unsafe for other drivers on the road. I understand we bought the car as is but all cars being sold on any car lot should have the frames checked. Without the frame the car has no structural integrity.
