I recently journeyed towards the DC metro-area and hired an automobile through Alamo. Upon pick up in the Dulles airport, I had been presented towards the candle lit storage where the attendent asked me to select an automobile. Upon selecting a vehicle, the worker merely passed me the secrets and questioned me to signal. He conducted no inspection of the automobile, and didn't ask me to do any kind of examination. I was in a rush, and that I've never had difficulty with leases previously, therefore used to donot consider how peculiar it had been the worker didn't examine the automobile or ask me to. I went the automobile to my guardianis house in a peaceful, secure community where it stayed left for pretty much per week. No harm whatsoever happened towards the automobile, and that I delivered it in the Baltimore BWI airport, where I had been to capture my return trip. There is no Alamo worker on-duty, and indicators merely aimed me to park the vehicle in a storage and abandon the secrets in aspect. Which was it! I felt anxious about returning the automobile without anybody present, but evidently that's Alamois process and that I had a need to capture my trip. 14 days later, with-out a telephone call, I obtained a notice within the email from Alamois "harm restoration device" declaring I owed $914 in problems towards the automobile, with 2 websites describing all of the substantial function that will have to be completed, that was completely absurd. I understand that no harm happened at-all, and that I feel just like I had been cheated. I'm enjoy it was the workers obligation to examine the automobile or atleast consult me to examine it upon check out. I have never had this type of difficulty with additional rentalcar firms. Upon further study online, I Have unearthed that this type of fraud is typical with Alamo/Business, as numerous customers have now been scammed and cheated into deceptive "harm" costs, even if a preliminary examination have been completed! I can not think the corporation is permitted to bring a company certificate. I have since submitted grievances using the BBB and also the Attorney-General within the state-of Maryland. I WOn't spend these bogus charges. I would exactly like to alert different customers about Alamo/Business as well as their scamming methods. Be cautious and steer clear of the corporation no matter what!
