The repairs were never done

I settled T&T Automotive 293.00 to displace a time gear in february. Of this past year which week I'm having my machanic to complete some function and he unearthed that the time belt may be the unique gear. The repairs were never completed. From what my machanic claims he possibly simply tightened up the gear. Not just did he tear me down, he set me and my loved ones at risk of the gear splitting and creating a collision.
