Steve Eckert - Another mechanic who rips off women

Second Gear and Steve Eckert is a rip-off automotive "repair" place. It should be listed under automotive "rip-off" places. Especially with women. Another women wrote a review about how Second Gear tried to rip her off but she knew more about cars than I did. I wish I would have seen her review before I took it to Second Gear and Steve Eckert. I filed a complaint with Denver/Boulder BBB. Eckert doesn't even have the courtesy to reply.

According to three (3) other mechanics, Eckert put on struts that weren't needed on my car.

I would take him to Small Claims Court but they don't allow telephone testimony so the three mechanics would have to take off work to show up in court. Eckert has already ripped me off; I don't want his underhanded business practices to cost others their hard-earned money. I just want to let others know (especially women) so you won't throw your money away on this thief.
