I purchased a vehicle from South Shore Auto Sales in December. They told me that the vehicle had been detailed and serviced, however, when I took the vehicle to a mechanic, he informed me that the engine and carburetor was rusting and that there were mechanical problems with the car. I was alo informed that the oil had not been changed for years.

After looking over the car thoroughly, I found out that they neglected to provide me with a spare tire and the tire on the driver front side had been missing a large chunk of rubber. I informed the dealer of these matters and I was told by the owner that they would provide me with a spare tire.

A few days later, I started receiving menacing calls from them remarking that they had sold the wrong vehicle and that there was a problem with the paperwork. I referred the matter to my Attorney. She informed me that they reported to have given me the wrong registration form and that I had to pay additional funds for registration. I complied with their request and provided the additional funds, as well as a revised registration form. Approximately a day or so later, they called to say that I needed to purchase additional insurance. I contacted my Insurance Broker and purchased the Insurance.

They bombarded my attorney with several calls after that threatening to repossess the vehicle. On January 25,210, they repossesed the vehicle with my personal belongings, as well as disability apparatus. I have made several attempts to retrieve my personal items as well as the monies paid towards the vehicle and SAS has told me that they are not returning anything because they had to pay repossession costs. I know this to be an untruth because the car keys were returned to them by my Attorney.
