Westerman Transmission
Regretful

Had a miserable experience with Westerman Transmission. Had gotten an estimate for work of $1,600 - $2,000 and was told it would take less than a week to complete. Told Westerman not to go over $2,000 without talking to me. Over 5 weeks later, after being told repeatedly for weeks that it would be a couple more days I called them and they said it was done. I went to pick up the keys and the bill was nearly $2,300. What's worse is the vehicle still had exactly the same problem as when I took it to him but also seemed to have an ABS issue. I spent two more weeks taking it back to him to try to get it right. After multiple tries there was no improvement. I told him that I had given him ample opportunity to fix the vehicle and he had failed and that I thought he ought to refund my money. He told me flat out that he had put a lot of work into the vehicle and that I was not getting any money back. I believe he was not able to fix the vehicle so he lied and told me it was repaired to get my money and now that he has been paid he wants to wash his hands of it. Don't make the same mistake I did.
