Does not Stand by Vehicles!

Cars & Transport

This letter is to inform your dealership of how disappointed I am with the condition and the service of the vehicle I bought from your licensed company in which I was told that the vehicle’s problems noticed during the test drive would be fully rectified and the vehicle would be at 100% fully serviced by your technicians prior to close of sale. During the test drive it was noticed that the sensor showed up on the screen “LOW OIL LEVEL” and the original salesman, Saul agreed to have this all taken care prior to sale along with going through the entire vehicle to make sure it was in good shape. Then, after the sale it was not in fact taken care of and Saul, the salesman and repair tech told me two different things to do to solve the problem and none of those solutions worked.

Second the service folks told me they fixed the car but there was no change – it was merely a waste of my time to take the care in for service because each of the four times I brought the vehicle all the way from Sacramento to Woodland (the cost of my time and fuel back and forth and missing work) with no resolution to the problem by your dealership or service department was very unprofessional and discouraging. Your service folks always came up with different excuse regarding why they could not resolve the problems with the car, but finally they were able to sensor issue in mid- March (approximately March 13). On this same day, Saul the original salesman came to me and said that if there were any additional problems with the car, I could call him on and bring the car in on a Sunday going forward to help out with not missing any more work since it took so many times to fix the original issue. After they finally resolved the original sensor issue above and I got the car home, the care seem to be o.K. From mid-March through early May but then on May 6, when I was ready to go out again the car didn’t start at all and at that exact moment, I called Saul at 1:56 PM and explained the problem to Saul and he told me that he would send a mechanic to my home on Monday, May 9th, and have the car checked out at my home in Sacramento, and he also asked me to call him between 10:30 and 11:00 AM which I did, but suddenly it was difficult to reach Saul or anyone at the dealership – no return calls.

Monday came and I called Saul at 10:36 and as per Saul the mechanic was on his way to work so I waited with no call back from him, the next call from me was at 12:50PM and again the mechanic was on his way that’s when I start to get frustrated and I didn’t receive any call from anybody; so, I had to call again at 4:34PM and the answer was not different than the two before, then he told me to use my own insurance to have the car towed to the dealership at my own expense. Then, the last call on Monday was at 6:57 PM and at this point Saul took my address and told me that he would have my vehicle picked up on Tuesday, 05/10 and towed to the dealership in Woodland to be repaired. On Tuesday, I called two times and left a message on Saul’s phone at 11:56AM and at the end of the day, and I didn’t receive any call back from Saul – it seemed at this point that they were changing their mind on what they were going to do for me.

Now extremely frustrated with no vehicle for my family to use and no help from the dealership, I felt no other option then to contact legal counsel, file a complaint / investigation with DMV, and CA Consumer Affairs – I am unable to use this vehicle and have no other vehicle to get to/from work, etc. But I still must make the payment on time as agreed upon.

Full disclosure of your insurance bond address, policy#, claim form, etc. Within two business days of receipt of this correspondence is requested in order to make a claim based on this misrepresented and unfair transaction – this vehicle has been one problem after the other and your dealership represented via your salesman agreed that this vehicle would be thoroughly checked out and corrected before the final sale.
