Used Car RIP OFF of Death mobile!

Cars & Transport

I purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on a Friday. Went in with my daughter, I paid cash for the vehicle ($1600). I did purchase the car "as is" but to be used to drive not as salvage. I also traded in my vehicle and had it towed to this location ($125).

I noticed it was making a noise on Sunday (a constant tinging). On Tuesday I dropped the vehicle that I had purchased to my mechanic so that it could be serviced and/or fixed, I didn't want mydaughter driving the vehicle without it being checked. I was informed that the car is not able to be fixed there is too much wrong with the car and it should have never been sold.

I called John from the dealership and explained that the car is not able to be driven, there is too much wrong with it to be fixed. John explained that I should have called him on Sunday and that since I bought the vehicle "as is" its not his problem. He stated that more than likely I did all of that damage to the car between Friday and Tuesday.

I am very upset that i only had the vehicle in my posession for 4 1/2 days and now have to donate it. There has to be something or someone that I can contact to make sure this dealership does not scam anyone else.
