On March 11 my husband and I went to Hertz to pick up a rental car because our car was in the repair shop. The guy there asked us if we want Hertz's insurance for the car and we repeatly told him that we did not need any of their insurance since we're already have our own insurance. He then asked me to initial and sign the paper which I did. Then on March 29 when I returned the car back, he said that I have to wait for him to get a copy of the paper (contract) from his head office and see how much I owe them. I was shocked and told him that I didn't owe them anything cause my insurance company is paying for it. He then said "I have to see if your intial and signature are on it." He then said I owe them $284.80 for the insurance I took from Hertz. Shocking.

I reminded him that both my husband and I repeatly declined their insurance and guess what he said, "oh its not the insurance, its the services." At first he said insurance and now he said services. Guess what he said next, "it is insurance, but we have to say services. It's illegal to say insurance." He refused to take it off and just told me to call my credit card company.
