We recently rented a car in Ireland for our 2 week trip. The insurance costs were outrageous.
We paid 100's more than anticipated. What a shock when we dropped the car off.
With Ireland so dependent on tourist trade and a high unemployment rate already, one would think the tourist industry would pay more attention to the what is going on in the car rental sector. We were very dissatisfied with Hertz.
