I got a 2009 ford escape 1 year ago. About two months into the perchase I took it back complaining it stalled. I was told it was because someone else besides me drove it. It continued to get worse and I took it back again complainig about the stalling. They worked on it a while. Gave it back to me. Worked better after that for a while. Then the brake volumn booster went out, started shifting rough, and had a stalling problem yet again. I take it back in. They fix the brakes but it stalled out on me on the way out of the shop. Had to take it in again. They never could fix the stalling problem. I had almost got hit twice. I had called the big ford corporation and all they would do is honor the warranty. Yet no one could seem to fix my car. I'm officially out 3 thousand dollars for a new car (after only having this one a year). Will never own another Ford! Very upset they wouldn't do something to make it right.
