Camilla/Cristian I own a ford festiva in 2001 and tgis car end up been giving away to my ex girlfriend in a attempt to share all our belongs, sadly her mom took over the car and for been a illegal imigrant her mom didn

Well i owned a ford festiva back in 2001... After a bitter break up with my girlfriend she decide to take the car.
The car was giving to her mom which never knew what has to be done with the tittle adn registration of the same... in november i went to DMV and dropped the release of liability. Now in august i receive a letter from Rickenbacker colection agency saying that i own them towing and storage fees for this car. The car worth around 500 now days and they want meto pay 3.145 for all the fees... I went to dmv and got a print out to check the history on this car... As requested by Rickenbacker i had to fax the print out to get the charge dismissed.
Looking at my credit report they still show as account seriously past due.
Now i see that other people got caught on the same trap.
This peoplewere very rude on the phone and persistent to have me pay a bill that doens't really belong to me
i have try to contact this people several times to see why they didn't finish with their part of the deal but it seems to me that they are out of business... Good thing... But what about my credit report?
