New Orleans, Louisiana Bogus damage charges assessed

I'm an educated frequent car renter. Alamo new Orleans charged me for pre existing damage to a windshield that plain and simple could not be seen upon pickup of the vehicle after dark. No amount of evidence or presentation of facts to the contrary would sway them from pushing me for the replacement of a windshield that I absolutely knew I did not damage. Even had i photographed the car at rental pickup, this tiny crack would have not been seen in post-darkness ohotos. Avoid this operation at all costs! They are apparently devious and consumer unfriendly.in spite of my long time affiliation and very frequent renting with both Alamo and their sister company, National, I will seek alternatives in the future due to this insulting treatment and the unsubstantiated charges assessed to me.
