Scammed me for my car

I had a car note on my CLK 430 Mercedes, I posted it for someone to buy the car out right to try and avoid a repo. This company contacted me and told me they could help. They sent me all this information about the company and what they can do to help me avoid the repo. I asked them for referances of other people that have done this before and they provided them. I called those people and they said it was all good. So from there i was suppose to sign the paper work they provided me with.
From there all the paper work stated they would take the car and make the payments every month wired into my account. They set up a day and time for a SO CALLED transport company to come and pick up my car. My car was then picked up and was suppose to be taken to a dealership to make sure there was nothing wrong with it. As long as it passed everything they would do the deal and yes the car was in good condition. From there they told me a GPS was to be installed into my car and I would also receive that information to track my car at all times.
AS time went on I continued to contact the company a man named Mark who was the one handling the deal, asking him for the GPS information as well as proof of insurance that they were also suppose to put on the car. I finally got the insurance information and something didn't look right. Now as i am asking for the GPS there was a problem installing it so he says.
We are now still in contact and they have had my car for just about a month and now it was time for the payment to get ready to be made. I also let him know that the day my car was picked up the guys ran the ez-pass and i have 3 tickets from that. He says scan and email me them and we will also pay them. I asked him if everything was set up and ready to go and " I have you confirmed for tomorrow thanks " Mark send me back in an e mail about my payment. So I wait for the wire transfer and wait another day and sure enough the payment isn't there, the phones are disconnected and they are not responding to my e mails any longer.
I then try to contact the transprot company and the guy says "oh I'm not in the transport business any longer but, I will find out where your car was taken" after that phone call no answer from him either.
So now I contact my insurance comapny and explain to them everything that has happened. They tell me to go to the police station and report the car stolen. I get to the police station and I am giving my statement and the police start interrogating me as if i was doing something wrong. I am telling the officer I am here with all this proof that they took my car and I am here trying to get my car back. I had about 50 pages of emails from the company to show them that i wasn't doing anything wrong. I was the victim and was being treated like the criminal thats how I felt.
So I just wanted to make everyone aware of this company they scammed me out of my car. Be careful and aware of them.
