Dishonest Car financing

I went to a wonderful dealership who went to a 3rd party finance company called alamo financial. They were not so bad at first, however their customer service skills have always been a little lackluster. When I would call in to make my payments it was usually quick and painless. I made all payments on my car on time for about an entire year then things started to get sour. Admittedly I got a little behind on my payments, I caught up. This cycle went on for a few months (due to personal financial probs I was having at the time) and then they started getting nasty. I would send payments in and It was like I was sending them nothing at all. And I was sending all of my money to these people. On one instance, they said i owed 480 dollars, so I offered to pay them 400 dollars from my card and maybe pay the other 80 in a couple days, they lady said no we need the whole thing and immediately hung up on me. They are very unwilling to negotiate, so I sent them what I could. They kept claiming I was bouncing checks when I wasn't. When asked for check numbers they could not provide any. I also had my mom put on the account so she could call on my behalf and they would tell her one thing, ask her to pass it on to me and to give them a call. When I would call them they would tell me something totally ridiculous and abruptly hang up on me before I could say anything. I got to the point where I was never going to get things settled with them, so I gave up. 1 october I went out to go to work and my car was gone. They wanted 1200 dollars in 6 days it was impossible so I had to let the car go. If you end up with this company, refinance quick they are horrible to deal with, the customer service is awful, and they take your money and claim you're not paying them.
