Alamo Retal Car Harassment

I am a business owner and I travel extensively and have done so for the past 20 years. I frequently rent cars while travelling and in the opast few years have used National and Alamo on numerous occassions.
On 7/20 I rented a car from Alamo in Northern California and upon driving the vehicle noticed that the car was in very poor condition. I notified the company by phone and then I notified the manager at the Las Vegas Alamo facility that the car was dropped at. He documented the issues at that time.
On 8/25 I received a letter from Alamo claiming that I owed them$686.00 for damages and that they may sue if this was not paid within 14 days. I immediately upon receipt of the letter called and emailed to talk to a, Letitia Armour, Recovery Specialist at 800-327-0421, ext. 6685. I left a message that was ever returned.in my email and phone message, I asked what the claim was for specifically. My email and phone message was never returned.
On 10/24 I received another letter from Alamo, from a, Debra Jamison, 800-327-0421, ext. 6659. Again the letter was threatening and stated that they would send me to collections if I do not pay $686.00 within 10 days. Again, I called and emaild this person. My call and email were never returned.
On January 22 I received a letter from First Financial Asset Mgmt. On behalf of Vanguard (Alamo/National) stating that they were retianed to collect $686.00. I am considering filing a lawsuit against Alamo for this harassment. And after going online and finding multiple claims against Alamo for doing the same thing I am wondering if this may be a possible class action suit against this company.
These are tough economic times and as a business owner I go above and beyond to satisfy my customers. I haver spent thousands of dollars over the past few years renting cars from Alamo and National and based upon this harassment that I have received from them over the past 6 months, they have lost my business and that of all of my employees, friends, family and colleagues.
