OUT TO GET YOU - tires

I went to an ntb location in deer park tx because i had a nail in my tire. I asked the guy if they could just pull the nail out and plug the tire. (it was a small nail and it didnt look like it was a big deal) he told me that i needed a brand new tire even though i just bought these tires less than 2 months ago. I didnt have enough time to stay and let them change the tire, so i left. The next morning i passed by a mom and pop tire shop called pancho's in laporte tx, the guy took my tire off looked at it, pulled the tiny nail out, asked if it was leaking, put it under the water to see if it would bubble, and told me that there was nothing wrong with the tire... The tiny nail had not done any damage to the tire... So. Just beware and always get a second opinion. It seems like big companies are out to take advantage of anyone!!
