Prolong Plus extended auto warranted No "Peace of Mind for that next bump in the road" for car trouble under this warranty

NO "Peace of Mind for that next bump in the road" if you have a warranty with ProlongPlus. After almost $1000.00 in warranty fees, Prolong really prolonged my getting my air-conditioner in my automobile repaired. They said all repairs were covered that I needed. Yes, it was covered. Great? And no deductible. Too good to be true. Of course, the runaround started with faxing of two oil changes, then more. Then more information was required. My repair shop said they had never had such a run-around from a warranty company. Any way I have stopped payments, really "gifts" each month to them. I hope to recover some of my damages in small claims court if possible. The only way I feel at least somewhat lucky is that I was not out of town with a major repair waiting for them to cover the repairs which they promised. If the economy had not have been so bad, I would have a new vehicle by now. I believe these warranty type people prey off the people who they believe are already pushing their cars to the limited; because of their economic situation. I believe they should be stopped. Oh, I know, I am sure they have given just great service to some people, but I am not one of them. At least I am sure they will claim they have helped many, and I can not wait to see how many people claim they have been helped properly. If some people have gotten good service that is great, but I believe many have not.
