BUY HERE PAY HERE CARLOT Sold me a defective vehicle knowingly

I went to a buy here pay here carlot to purchase a vehicle of course. Not a vehicle with problems to my knowledge.
These people tried to sell me a warranty that would have raised my carpymt $70. I can't afford that, if I could I would have enough credit to go to regular carlot. The day after I purchased the car, the service engine light came on. The owner of the carlot just told me that the car had 2 recalls on it. If he knew that why didn't HE get the car serviced before selling it.
The window wouldn't go down and the air shut off. The car was 9,000 miles over the oil change limit, and the brakes were squueeaaling! They hadn't even gotten the car serviced.
Repair shops have tototaled me over 3,000 to get the vehicle fixed. This is the second time this has happened to me. I have no choice but to go to a buy here pay here to get a car. These car dealers should be made to let us consumers know what we are getting ourselves into. It should have been a report saying what all need to be fixed on the car. It's almost like were being tricked into buying a broke car that we can't afford to get fixed so then the car is repoed.
