Ripoff dishonest employees endanger lives

I went to Just Brakes to get the brakes done in my car. The only thing that was wrong with them when I took them there was that they were squeeking.

After waiting for 1 1/2 hours, finally they took me out to my car and explained what the problem was. They told me that my brake pads and everything were great, they problem was all the stuff around them was so old that it was rattling around and that is what caused them to sqeek. They said that they could fix it all for me for $600. I told them that I was sorry, I could not afford that (especially since my car isn't worth that much).

The employees became very angry, and one man even threw down the rotor and said "what do you mean, I already started it!" I said sorry, I can't afford it. He then told me that I would have to wait until all his customers were gone, and then he would put my car back together. I went to pick up my car later that day to find that my brakes barely worked at all.

My husband ended up fixing my car, and the parts only costed me $40, compared to just brakes $200 parts fee and $60 fee to find them. And when my husband fixed it, he found that the brake system wasn't bled when it was put back together, and was full of air bubbles. Had I not known how to drive my car very well, I could have gotten into an accident on the way home.
