Ripoff, lied, "fixed" wrong problem, lied about results

A year ago, I took one of my cars in to get the brakes fixed. I was given great service and my brakes are still working great. So I decided to take my second car in to get the brakes fixed as well since they needed fixing too (the car vibrated when braking).

I talked to the guy at the desk, Josh Hell, and explained that I had my brakes fixed and that a couple days ago the guy had told me that it was probably the rotors causing the problem.

The guy at the desk was very polite and told me the brakes were fixed and to come back if my car was still shaking when I pushed on the brakes within the next 3000 miles or something like that.

When I left the shop, within a mile I noticed the car was still shaking when I hit the brakes. I took the car back and I was told that the old brake pads had to adjust to the new brakes or something and to come back after 1000 miles if they were still shaking.

Sure enough, after 1000 miles the car was still shaking and my wife brought the car back and told them we were still having the problem. They told her that I had said to fix the front brakes like they had done on our other car, which was a complete lie (since I had no idea which brakes were bad in the first place!).

So after being out about 200 bucks, my wife and I are still pretty upset about the lieing and the fact that they didn't even mention the front brakes were fine and the back brakes needed fixing. It sucks, but what can you do about it.

I know one thing. I definitely won't get my car fixed at northstar ford or do any business with them ever again.
