Ripped Off By Second Gear and Steven Eckert

Second Gear and owner Steve Eckert is a rip-off. Eckert refuses to discuss any compensation even though three (3) other mechanics state that Eckert put on struts that weren't needed on my car. I took the car to a place to have it thoroughly checked out before I bought the car so one mechanic knew exactly what the car needed. After Eckert ripped me off I took the car to another place and both mechanics said I was ripped off.

I have filed a complaint with Denver/Boulder BBB.

I would take him to Small Claims Court but they don't allow telephone testimony so the mechanics would have to take off work to show up in court. Eckert has already ripped me off; I don't want his underhanded business practices to cost others their hard-earned money.
