Ignored claim, put on hold and didn't return calls

Purchased 5 yr/100000 extended warranty for $995. On 3/8/07 from smart auto warranty. This was to cover engine and transmission. Had transmission problems, took to repairman along with warranty papers. He called said I had to produce transmission service records. Took several days to produce records as was out of town and taking chemo. The repairman then faxed the records and was told to call back. He was put on hold for so long he said he was hearing weird noises on the phone. He called me back and as I needed transportation for chemo, told him I would pay the bill and try to collect from smart auto. When I called them they then said they needed the engine service records too and since I paid the bill said they didn't have to honor the warranty. Have called them repeatedly, but they never return my calls. These rip offs need to stop, somebody needs to sue them and get them from screwing others. I will be glad to be the first. There are principals involved now.
