Tried to force me to resign papers adding an Administrative Fee of $6000.00

Cars & Transport

On 15 March I went into the dealership to purchase a vehicle. I was approved, signed a contract after about 5 hours there and left with the vehicle. On the 30th of March, I received a phone call that I needed to come in and resign papers. I stated to the salesman, "For What?" And he stated he did not know and that finance did not tell him anything. When my daughter and I arrived at the dealership, it was approximately, 830pm - 845pm. I went into the dealership and sat with my sales guy and then, the finance guy came in and stated that, they had a problem with my loan. The lender wanted to charge an administrative fee for $6000.00... I stated to both of the guys that I was not going to resign any papers, that I needed to think about it. The finance guy became very forceful and was trying to bully me and they both made me feel really uncomfortable. The finance guy stated that I had to make a decision that night. He told me that why they did not tell me on the phone was because they figured I would be out car shopping somewhere else, which I would have but I needed the money that I had given then to make a deal. I told them that they just cannot call me into the office and just demand I make a decision right then and there and that I did not feel that they were handling me nor this situation correctly. I got up out of my chair and left. I called my sales guy to see if they had resolve this issue and what where they planning to do about the papers that I had already signed. He stated he did not know. I told him that I was not going to resign another contract. I asked if they had ran my check and he stated that he thought they had. I went to the bank and closed my account to stop them from getting any cash. I had already endured spending money on full coverage which I knew I could not get back. On 7 April I received a call stating that I had written a bad check when actuality, I closed to protect my money. They wanted me to give them back the car which would perclude me from getting another car somewhere else and I could not afford that to happen. These people are a Rip-Off. They pray on single women and try to bully people into contract. They showed me the approval before I left there and to run my check when they knew that I was not going to resign a contract and to try to take advantage of me is and was wrong. Bad Business
