Tinley Park ripoff

I purchased a used vehicle from Family Hyundai through their financing company. First of all, with the financing charges, I'm paying double what the car costs. Two days later, I was called back to the dealership to refill out my paperwork, because the paperwork I signed had two different VIN numbers. So, I had to resign all of the papers with the wrong VIN numbers on them. When I got there to the dealership, I got harassed by the Salesperson, Richard Ashton, as if I was the one that made the mistake.

We were arguing back and forth for a few minutes. I was so embarrassed that I wanted to leave. Everyone was watching us argue, both the Salespeople and customers. I got the paperwork signed and have not to this date received any of the second copies of paperwork that I signed.

I still have the copies of my first batch of paperwork. 2 1/2 weeks after having the car, I got a call at work from my wife stating, "we got threatening phone calls from the dealership. Richard Ashton and his manager called and left a voicemail message threatening to take our car back.

The manager stated that he is going to call the Police and report that I stole the vehicle from their lot." I had no clue of what was going on, so I got so hysterical. I wasn't able to perform my duties at work.

My wife called the dealership back and spoke with the manager about the situation. The manager stated, "the financing company did not accept my contract, because I (Michael Alexander) work for a contracting company." My wife asked him about the threatening phone call and the manager stated, "that was just something I said to get you to call back." I don't think that was funny by a long shot. Now, I've been through harassment and threats with this dealership. Now, to top it all off, I probably won't have a car tomorrow.

What shall I do? Are there any Lawyers out there willing to take my case? I tell you I had a terrible experience with Family Hyundai and advise anyone to not do business with them. When you see the commercials on television, please turn the channel.
