Car Sold from underneath me

I currently live in westbury N.Y. I was looking to buy a car for work and school, I saw a 04 toyota camry with 16,000 miles at advantage nissan in westbury, I spoke with a used car salesman and test drove the car, loved it and was ready to purchase.
I filled out credit application and was told to sit with finance guy joe riveriera, this was on thursday afternoon joe informed me that I would need a co-signer on the loan because my credit wasn't strong enough so my friend felix agreed to help so we all sat together and discussed options and joe said he would call when he had news.
Joe called me that evening and said good news I got you approved for a loan and gave me some details on the loan, he had told me he was off on friday so he would deliver car on saturday, he told me to make sure I went to dealership on friday to leave a deposit $100.00 -$200.00 dollars to hold car until saturday.
I assured him I would do that and I did I went there around 11am and spoke with the salesman who helped me intially Bobby kay I informed him that joe told me to leave a deposit on the camry with him and that we were going to sign contracts on saturday because I was approved on loan, bob said that he spoke with joe about it already and that everything would be ok, I gave bob $100.00 and he brought to cashier and gave me a reciept and said that he would see me on saturday.
Saturday morning I called joe to make sure everything was ok and to tell him I would be there around 2pm he said no problem see you then,
when I arrived at dealership I did not see the car so I approached bob he said good news I found you newer car same miles, I said bob where is the car I put a deposit on I am not interested in a different car, they sold the car to someone else they gave an excuse that I was not approved for that car so I went to finance guy and he said I was approved and that there must of been miscommunication about this well let me tell you the sales team at advantage nissan are shady characters and I would strongly advise no one should experience what I did, After all said and done the general manager wanted me to pick a 06 altima for same price but that was not what I was looking for so I asked for my deposit back and told them they would be hearing from me or my lawyer, I don't know if I have a case but I was truly upset about the whole situation and the way they made me feel and treated me, this is a warning to anyone thinking of going there to buy a car.
