Warranty and 5 Star certification are simply lip service. Issues with vehicle within 2 hours of driving and dealer did not stand by any promises made at time of sale

Purchased a used vehicle and was told at the time of sale that it had passed their 5 Star Certification with only need being a battery. Within 2 hrs of driving the vehicle we started experiencing issues. ABS light came on and could not start the car after turning it off. Returned to Dealer for explanation and was charged $123 for a diagnostic report and no repairs were made. They needed additional time to diagnose at an additional charge to me. Although they offered a 50/50 warranty they did not absorb any of the cost of the problem and insisted that whatever it was was not covered by the warranty. 9 days later I was on battery #3 and had invested $700 in labor and repairs. ABS issue has not been resolved and 5 Star has not stepped up to work with us. Reported complaint to the Better Business Bureau with no satisfaction. This business is currently rated A but has had 3 unresolved complaints since they opened for business in 2008. Significantly more complaints must be necessary to really get some Better Business attention. Based on our experience, I would in no way recommend this business. They run a shady business and take advantage of trusting buyers.
