Car Credit
Sold me a lemon. Broke down on the first day, still had to pay for it

Cars & Transport

DO NOT EVER, EVER even think about buying a car from these scam artists. It's been years ao, but I needed a car. I had no credit, so I decided to build up my credit by buying a used car and paying it off. Well, I started looking around. Immediately, the used dealers swarmed on me. I starting asking about some small, cute little cars. Cars that woulod be good on gas, and I didn't even need a backseat anyhow. Well, the dealer kept taking me back over to this buick oldsmobile. I really didn't like the car. It was very big. But they kept insisting that I chose that car. They kept saying that was the only car they would approve me for, and that I couldn't ask for a better car.

Well, I really needed a car. After being told no one would sell me a car besides them, and the only car they would approve me for was this buick, I relunctantly signed the papers. I was young, and desperate for a car. The car ended up costing $350 a month.

THE FIRST NIGHT I GOT THE CAR, THE ENGINE COMPLETELY DIED. I took it back up there, and I demanded my money back. They told me that I bought the car as is. They said it didn't matter that I had just bought the car. They did say they'd look at it. Well, their professionals said there is nothing at all wrong with it. It was a great car, after all.

Well, it completely shut everything down again on my way home.

When I took it back up there, and they saw me driving in, all of the workers looked at the car, and started running away, like roaches, into hiding places. The manager told me he'd have someone look at it again. Again, they said the car is perfect. I told them I didn't want it. I said I wanted my downpayment back, and I wasn't paying anymore for it.

They refused, and said had a contract and I had no choice but to continue paying it off. I took it back up there several more times. They never even looked at it. They just kept saying it's perfect. Oh, really? Then why does everything shut down in the middle of the highway. It ended up breaking down again, and I just walked away from it. I got a letter from the police impound, but just threw the letter away. The car was useless. It never ran even from day one.

I was so young and stupid, I ended up paying off a car I never even drove more than a few times, and it didn't even help my credit, anyhow. When I went to buy another car, they said I had no record of payments.

This is a fraud. They pushed a car on me that they knew was broken down, and forced me to pay it off. Then, I come to find out, that apparently my perfect payment history for a car that never even ran (I paid every two weeks for over a year), wasn't even recorded.

To this day, it makes me very sick to think of what Car Credit did to me - they forced me to pay a whole lot of money for a piece of trash they had laying around, and they knew it was trash when they forced it on me. I might as well have paid thousands for a piece of tissue they used.

Never use this company.
