Help fix my truck

The didn't know how to drive 3-speed on the column. I drove into the bay. He did the smog test and instead come and get me he tryto drive it out after 30 minutes or so I went back there to see if I can pull the truck out but he been tring to drive it out on his did something to the shift linkage on the column. I can't get it in reverse its in forward, but I don't know which gear its in. I called them and the person answer the phone said he is busy right now and would have him call back he never did, so I call later and left a message and they didnt call back. I call the next day and I just got the answer machine and I been every day and all I get is the answer machine. He kept apologise about halve dozen times. All want the to do is help pay to fix it.
