I bought a 2008 applied Mazda CX7 with 16 thousand kilometers onto it in July. It's today Sept 11 and that I want to distribute the term to everybody that I will concerning the defective converters mounted within the Mazda CX7 cars. I had been on my method to a Work Day fishfry (3 hours from wherever I reside) and also the AC quit functioning. We subsequently started to smell burnt plastic, smoking started to arise in the cover of the automobile, and also the power steering became non-existent. After reducing the automobile down, it'd not start back-up. The nearest Mazda dealer was Expo Mazda in Kingwood TX. They acquired the vehicle Tuesday 9-8, informed me of the internal failure, informed me that my vehicle was no longer under warranty, informed me that they had all parts to fix my vehicle, and that it would be ready Wednesday evening (9-9) In the meantime, I looked online to find over 50 cases of the exact same problem and felt that Mazda should recall this model and be responsible for half of the repair bill. Now it is Friday 9-11 and no one has called me about the status of my vehicle, so I called them. They recommended me that my automobile was completed up 9-10-09 and test-driven (they mentioned they were nearly to contact me) They required 10% off making me a stability of approximately $961.00 plus $256.00 in rentalcar costs. I attempted to describe this is extremely unjust to customers, and sad for Mazda since I'll never buy another Mazda. I'll also recommend my family and friends of my expertise hoping that I will maintain this case from occurring to anyone who I understand. Avoid the mazda cx7!!!
