Just Breaks
Ripoff, over chargeing for substandard work, and unessessary repairs consumer fraud ripoff

I had spent $970.00 on a break job two years ago at this place. I have moved since then and lost the original recipt/warrenty. My front breaks had begun to squeek so I figured the pads had worn out and nedded replaced (two years is about the lifetime for break pads in city traffic) I took it back to the same store to take advantage of there $99.00 replacement special and because I had lost the original recept and didn't feel that after 2 years they would still be under warrenty and didn't want the hassel of trying to have them find my name in there files, I did not tell them I had been there before.

I mean after all, I had done a major break overhaul just two years ago so nothing major could be wrong and $99.00 was a great deal right? WRONG! After inspection they told me that my break system was in terrible condition and needed $970.00 worth of repairs! Hmmmmmmmm I've heard this line before! At this time I told them that I had spent that exact amount two years prior, and demanded that they pull me up in the computer to varify, when they told me that 1. They don't use computers and 2. Don't keep copies of warrentys hmmmm A nation wide chain in the 21st century that does not use computers! Unbelieveable! This chain is nothing but a well thought out con.
