Pep Boys
Wanted to do full electrical service due to burned out light bul

Cars & Transport

My 1996 Camry failed state inspection due to a burned out light bulb over the license plate. I tried to change out the bulb myself, but it crumbled in my hand.

I took the car to Pep Boys and asked them to install a new light bulb. They did, but said the light bulb wasn't the problem and recommended a full electrical system check.

Instead of paying $200, I took it to the dealer, who changed it for $20. There was nothing wrong with the electrical system. I won't go to Pep Boys again.
