I purchased a fluorescent light bulb made by "AMERICAN POWER PRODUCT"

This thing only lasted approximately 3 months. One night, I smell something burning... Kind of the plastic / electrical burn smell.

Sure enough the light bulb went out, but the switch was in the on position. I turned off the switch and removed the bulb... Which was smoking. It definitely was on the edge of ignition.

SO... I try to locate this company to send them this bulb for them to investigate as to why it happened / product QA... And guess what? No record. There is a listing with an 800 number that is for Viagra.
