Cruzan Engineering
Dangerous and faulty heated gloves and gear that has caused burns to hands

Cars & Transport

In early 2007 I purchased heated gloves, jacket, connectors and a thermostat controller from CRUZAN ENGINEERING, 111 PULASKI BOULEVARD, BELLINGTON, MASS 02019. These items were listed with a life-time guarentee on the heating and electrical elements. The jacket would not heat up and was returned and repaired.

Feburary 2008 I was riding my motorcycle while using the jacket and gloves when I felt a burning pain on the top of my left hand.By the time I manged to stop my bike and remove the glove I had a nickle size burn on my center knuckle. I sent CRUZAN ENGINEERING an e-mail explaing what had happened and requested a contact telephone number and shipping info to get the gloves repaired. No response.in the fall 2008 the jacket's electrical connector's contacts fell apart when I was 60 miles from home and it was 40 degrees out. A very cold experience. I have contacted them several times since then but get no response from the company. The thermostat controller is of poor quality and does not really make a difference in the heat range. Overall this company is a rip-off. Their products are poor quality, dangerous and can cause injury to you... Beware.
