Sales AND Management will tell any lie to get the Sale!

We recently bought a 'pre-owned' luxury car from Harrelson Toyota and during the negotiation process the salesman told us all about how all their cars undergo a 120 point inspection before they are offered for sale.
Since this was a luxury vehicle, we wanted to see exactly what was done because service on these cars is very expensive. When pressed for the information the salesman told us he couldn't find it but he was sure that they looked it over and there was no problem. He referred us to the service manager for more info.
After talking with the service manager for a while he eventually told us that he'd gotten a call from a sales manager and was told to tell us 'they'd looked it over and everything was OK.' The Service Manager said that he did not want to lie and confessed that service had never seen the car.
The service manager agreed to perform an initial service on the car; there may be nothing wrong but if they will lie about that you cannot trust anything they say.
I will post a follow up once the car has been seen.
