Ripoff business from hell

Here is our story, we bought a 2001 Chevy Blazer in the interest rate was supposed to be 12% ended up being 24%, payments were supposed to be $400/month ended up being nearly $600.00, the loan was supposed to be for 5 years ended up being for 6.

We paid on the truck for a little over a year, over $7,000 was paid into the loan. We went to trade the truck in and the payoff on the loan was more than it was at the beginning. They said we had late fees on the truck, although we had never received any notice of being charged a late fee.

The car lot offered them $22,000.00 on the truck, they said we owed 24,500.00 and they would not accept the $22,000.00 as payoff. My husband told them to come pick up the truck, they did a month later. Right before they picked it up they said they would take the $22,000.00 as payoff, too late the deal had been complate for a month. Today we get a letter from them saying we still owe 11,462.84, no break down of payments or anything and not a dime of our payments were taken off the loan. Any suggestions?
