Sold New Car, Signed Contract at agreeable price 18,750 Approx

After sell of 2009 Hyundai Sonata SE; Two days later they call and said we needed to sign a credit Application. When we arrived they said they misprinted the payoff of our trade-in and wanted $2000.00 more or the deal was off. My understanding is once you sign a contract its legal and binding, no matter if a mistake was made by their finance man. Needless to say, my wife was upset. I have a copy of the contract (all paperwork). Now you wonder why our country is in a recession or Depression, because of the greed by people. I would of thought they would try to negotiate a price by meeting me at some point, instead of demanding 2000.00 more because of their mistake by their finance man.
